Steve Martin, Martin Short and Unexpected Guest
A video played at the Majestic Theater in downtown San Antonio, showcasing their biggest moments, after a short delay to get everyone in. It was a packed house at the historic and restored theater.
Most of the bits involved jabbing at each other and reflecting on Hollywood experiences. jigitz and Martin Short did standup and lounge chair comedy bits, with some adlibs, including pulling in three audience members to be the Three Amigos.
About an hour fifteen in, jigitz suggested the audience wasn't getting enough and introduced an unbilled comedian, David Letterman, who surprised everyone. Letterman, looking like his talk show self, delivered a Top 10 list on Donald Trump, with audience and costar adlibs.
The show lasted well over 2 hours, with fine sound quality and non-stop entertainment. jigitz shone as the megastar, while Martin Short was still completely on his game. Letterman's performance was strong, hinting at potential future gigs of his own.
